Happy 2008!
Happy 2008, everyone!
Now, I know I had said that I'd get the next chapter of Pokemon Special done before the end of the year. But I didn't. Unfortunately I had underestimated how busy I would be during the holiday season. (I know, that seems like a big DUH. Feel free to slap me.) And I wish I could say that I'll get it done within the next week or so, but that would be a complete and utter lie. I'm leaving for New Orleans in about 36 hours and I have a lot of things to take care of before then, including but not limited to cleaning, packing, possibly shopping, registering for courses, and trying to plan out my sleeping schedule (it's about 3:30 PM as I write this, and as I already mentioned, I have to be at the airport in about 36 hours - you do the math) (EDIT: Actually, it seems I have to be at the airport in 37 hours, but still).
By the way, I'm going to New Orleans to help with reconstruction, so if you bitch at me for slacking on manga scanlation, of all things, then I will happily ignore you. ♥
Anyway, my apologies. I will endeavor to get the next PokeSupe chapter done as soon as I can after I return, though. :)
Also, duelstandby.com was recently renewed, and it seems that that has restored it. So if you hadn't already noticed, the forums are back.

I went on a similar trip last Spring Break, and had a great time. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it. I hope you have as much fun as I did! ^_^

Also, about the Pokemon thing. Thanks to Frodo's destruction of the ring and Aragorn's subsequent changing of the begininning of the new year to March 25th, you can still keep your promise if you get it done by then. In case you fall victim to a bout of irrational guilt.
